Derr Equipment outside of Savannah, Missouri will serve as the host site for the 2008 Show-Me Tractor Cruise. This year's ride will leave Derr Equipment at 8:00am on Saturday, June 28th, heading north, then east through Rosendale before turning south back to Savannah for a morning break. The route continues south towards St. Joseph to Krug Park for its lunch break. In the afternoon, tractors will travel the north portion of St. Joseph's historic Parkway before traveling back north towards Derr Equipment via Amazonia to wrap up the day. The public is invited to come see the tractors at Derr Equipment, watch the tractors as they parade through the day or to join us at Krug Park during the lunch break. The day ends with a barbecue supper that's opened to community members and guests.

The 2008 schedule is generous on the amount of times for breaks and lunch (over 3 hours of break time planned), allowing drivers to visit and have a break from the day. It's also a very managemable 51.4 miles. Like our rides in the past, this drive is a great combination of the countryside, some great communities and historical sites.

FYI...Early check-in will be held available on Friday, June 27th...check-in is open from noon to 8:00pm. Check-in will re-open Saturday morning.    Breakfast will be available and open to the public on Saturday morning. Lunch will be available on the day of the drive at Krug Park. Drivers and their families need to order lunch tickets. The public is welcome to join us anywhere along the route.

If you're planning on being a part of the drive and want to make hotel reservations, please visit our housing link (located on the main menu in the Red section) for a list of hotels in the area.

The public is also invited to come for supper on Saturday evening at Derr Equipment. The meal will begin serving at 5:00pm.

Our route has received the official endorsement of the Missouri State Highway Patrol. We will be assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop H throughout the day, along with assistance from other law enforcement officials (county, city) and the Missouri Army National Guard.
