Show-Me Tractor Cruise - "A Few Miles for Many Smiles"

Main MenuContact us

Since 2005, Derr Equipment outside of Savannah, Missouri has served as the host site for the Show-Me Tractor Cruise. Once again this year, Derr Equipment will be our starting and stopping point for the 2010 Show-Me Tractor Cruise.

This year's ride will leave Derr Equipment at 8:30am on Saturday, June 26th, initailly heading west on Highway 59, then turning south towards Amazonia and a trip along the bluffs and bottoms of the Missouri RIver. We'll have a break at the north side of St. Joseph, then travel east across town on St. Joseph's 91 year old Northwest Parkway before we travel to Riverside Church for our lunch break. In the afternoon, our route takes us into the countryside again, traveling past corn and soybean fields, dairy farms and scenic Northwest Missouri. We'll pass through Cosby, Missouri in the afternoon, then continue our journey west back towards Savannah to wrap up our day.

The 2010 schedule is generous on the amount of times for breaks and lunch (over 3 hours of break time planned), allowing drivers to visit and have a break from the day. We're continuing our tradition of running a shorter route that (52 miles) so it remains driver friendly for all ages.

FYI...Early check-in will be held available on Friday, June 25th...check-in is open from noon to 8:00pm. Check-in will re-open Saturday morning.    Breakfast will be available and open to the public on Saturday morning. Lunch will be available on the day of the drive at Riverside Church. Drivers should have ordered meals for themselves and their families at registration, but a limited number of tickets can be purchased at check-in or by e-mailing tbrand@showmetractorcruise.com by JUNE 20th with the number of each type of sandwhich (ham, turkey or roast beef). This will be a great venue for families to meet as well as for the public to see the tractors on display.

If you're planning on being a part of the drive and want to make hotel reservations, please visit our Housing link (located on the main menu in the Red section) for a list of hotels in the area.

The public is invited to come for supper on Saturday evening.  The meal will begin serving at 5:00pm.

As the Missouri Legislature directed in 2009, we work with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, St. Joseph City Police and the Andrew and Buchanan County Sheriff Departments to make sure we are safe and provide the best route available to our drivers and motorists on the road.
