Since 2005, Derr Equipment outside of Savannah, Missouri has served as the host site for the Show-Me Tractor Cruise. Once again this year, Derr Equipment will be our starting and stopping point for the 2011 Show-Me Tractor Cruise.

       This year's ride will leave Derr Equipment at 8:15am on Saturday, June 25th, initailly heading east on Highway 59, then turning south in Savannah before continuing east on State Route E. We'll turn south on State Route D for a short stretch, then head south and east on State Route E towards Rochester. From Rochester, we travel northeast to Helena where the community is celebrating the annual Webster Park opening. After a break in Helena, our route continues south through the country on State Route Z to San Antonio. From there, we turn back east to St. Joseph for a lunch break at Riverside Church.
       In the afternoon, our route takes us north through the Shoppes of the North Village, then continues back towards Savannah and Derr Equipment to end our day with a barbecue supper.

       The 2011 schedule is generous on the amount of times for breaks and lunch (over 3 hours of break time planned), allowing drivers to visit and have a break from the day. We're continuing our tradition of running a shorter route that (51 miles) so it remains driver friendly for all ages.

    FYI...Early check-in will be held available on Friday, June 24th...check-in is open from noon to 8:30pm. Check-in will re-open Saturday morning.    Breakfast will be available and open to the public on Saturday morning. Lunch will be available on the day of the drive at Riverside Church. Drivers should have ordered meals for themselves and their families at registration, but a limited number of tickets can be purchased at check-in or by e-mailing tbrand@showmetractorcruise.com by JUNE 22th with the number of each type of sandwhich (ham, turkey or roast beef). This will be a great venue for families to meet as well as for the public to see the tractors on display.

    The public is invited to come for supper on Saturday evening.  The meal will begin serving at 5:00pm.

    As the Missouri Legislature directed in 2009, we work with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, St. Joseph City Police and the Andrew and Buchanan County Sheriff Departments to make sure we are safe and provide the best route available to our drivers and motorists on the road.
